How to bulk Fix WordPress Permissions using cPFence Tools?

Fix Ownership & Permissions (WebUI Method)

  1. Sign in to the cPFence WebUI and choose the relevant server.
  2. Open Tools & UtilitiesWP-AutoShield Bulk Tools.
  3. Locate the Security & Hardening section and click Set WP Permissions.
  4. Confirm the action; cPFence sets recommended permissions on core files, uploads, and configuration paths.
  5. Review the streamed output for any site that needs manual follow-up.

This ensures PHP files, directories, and uploads follow the secure defaults expected by WP-AutoShield.

Command Line (CLI) Method

  1. SSH into the server.
  2. Run the permissions fixer:
    cpfence --bulk-set-wp-permissions

Pair this with the LiteSpeed permission tool when syncing changes from staging back to production.
