Can I Use Login Protection Plugins Along with WP-AutoShield in cPFence?

Note: Using multiple login protection systems at the same time can cause conflicts, failed logins, or user lockouts. It’s recommended to keep only one active—either your plugin or cPFence’s built-in features.

If you’re using login protection plugins, they are not compatible with cPFence. You can either disable those plugins and keep cPFence protection active, or disable cPFence’s built-in login protection features.

How to Disable cPFence Login Protection Features

To disable cPFence’s login protection features, follow these steps:

Step 1: Run the Following Commands

cpfence --bulk-disable-wp-captcha
cpfence --bulk-disable-wp-limit-login

Step 2: Turn Off These Features from Settings

  • autoshield_wp_limit_login
  • autoshield_wp_captcha

You can adjust these settings through the WebUI under:

WebUI → System Settings → Adjust cPFence Settings (Single Server)
