How to bulk Disable a WordPress Plugin by Slug using cPFence Tools?

Disable Plugin by Slug (WebUI Method)

 

  1. Log into cPFence WebUI and choose the target server.
  2. Go to Tools & UtilitiesWP-AutoShield Bulk ToolsBulk Disable Plugin by Slug.
  3. Enter the plugin slug (e.g. classic-editor) and click Verify Slug if needed.
  4. Press Bulk Disable Plugin; cPFence runs wp plugin deactivate across each WordPress site that has the plugin installed.
  5. Review the streamed log to confirm completion.

Use the site selector toggle if you only want to disable the plugin on selected websites.

Command Line (CLI) Method

  1. SSH into the server.
  2. Run:
    cpfence --bulk-disable-wp-plugin-auto classic-editor

Re-enable the plugin later with the matching enable command if customers request it back.
