Disable Plugin by Slug (WebUI Method)
- Log into cPFence WebUI and choose the target server.
- Go to Tools & Utilities ➜ WP-AutoShield Bulk Tools ➜ Bulk Disable Plugin by Slug.
- Enter the plugin slug (e.g. classic-editor) and click Verify Slug if needed.
- Press Bulk Disable Plugin; cPFence runs wp plugin deactivateacross each WordPress site that has the plugin installed.
- Review the streamed log to confirm completion.
Use the site selector toggle if you only want to disable the plugin on selected websites.
Command Line (CLI) Method
- SSH into the server.
- Run:
cpfence --bulk-disable-wp-plugin-auto classic-editor
Re-enable the plugin later with the matching enable command if customers request it back.
