How to bulk Install a Custom MU Plugin using cPFence Tools?

Install Custom MU Plugin (WebUI Method)

 

  1. Copy your MU plugin file into /var/log/cpfenceav/mu-plugin on the server.
  2. Open the cPFence WebUI, select the server, and navigate to Tools & UtilitiesWP-AutoShield Bulk Tools.
  3. Click Install Custom MU Plugin.
  4. Confirm the action; cPFence copies that MU plugin into wp-content/mu-plugins/ for every detected WordPress install.
  5. Watch the output stream for completion or any path permission issues.

Use the WP site selector if you only want to push the MU plugin to select customers.

Command Line (CLI) Method

  1. Place your MU plugin file in /var/log/cpfenceav/mu-plugin.
  2. SSH into the server and run:
    cpfence --bulk-install-custom-mu-plugin

Remember to uninstall the MU plugin afterward with the matching command if it’s only needed temporarily.
