How to bulk Update One WordPress Theme (Slug or ZIP) using cPFence Tools?

Update One Theme by Slug/ZIP (WebUI Method)

 

  1. Log into cPFence WebUI and select your server.
  2. Go to Tools & UtilitiesWP-AutoShield Bulk ToolsBulk Update One Theme.
  3. Enter the theme slug or ZIP URL, then click Verify Slug if you want to confirm the slug exists.
  4. Press Bulk Update Theme; cPFence updates every site that already has the theme installed.
  5. Monitor the streaming log for any sites that skipped the update.

Use the site selector toggle when you only want to update a subset for staged rollouts.

Command Line (CLI) Method

  1. SSH into the server.
  2. Update via slug:
    cpfence --bulk-update-wp-theme astra
  3. Or pull from a custom ZIP:
    cpfence --bulk-update-wp-theme https://example.com/agency-theme.zip

Clear caches once the update completes to avoid customers seeing outdated templates.
