How to bulk Reset WordPress Passwords by Role using cPFence Tools?

Reset All Passwords (WebUI Method)

 

  1. Open cPFence WebUI and select the server.
  2. Navigate to Tools & UtilitiesWP-AutoShield Bulk ToolsBulk Reset All Passwords.
  3. Choose a role (or all) from the dropdown.
  4. Click Reset Passwords; cPFence generates new strong passwords for every matching account and reports them in the log.
  5. Distribute the passwords securely to your customers.

Select all only when you are ready to log every user out across the fleet.

Command Line (CLI) Method

  1. SSH into the server.
  2. Reset administrator passwords:
    cpfence --bulk-wp-reset-all-passwords administrator
  3. Use all to rotate every account.

Encourage customers to log in immediately and change the auto-generated password to something unique.
