How to Add a New IP to My Per-Website License?

If you’ve added a new server to your Enhance cluster and want to sync its IP with your cPFence per-website license, follow the simple steps below:

Step 1: Add the Server to Your Enhance Cluster

Before syncing the IP, ensure that the new server has been added to your Enhance cluster. This is a mandatory step for proper synchronization.

Step 2: Run the Synchronization Command

  • Run the Command on Your Main Control Panel Server:
Use the following command to sync the IPs of all servers in your Enhance cluster with your cPFence license:

    /opt/cpfence/app/setup/validate -sync-ips

This will automatically update your cPFence license to include the new server's IP. Once the synchronization is complete, you can proceed to install cPFence on the new server.

Important Note

  • Ensure cPFence is installed and active on your main control panel server to keep your license system functional.
