How to Enable/Disable Spam AutoShield using cPFence Tools?

Toggle Spam AutoShield (WebUI Method)

 

  1. Sign in to cPFence WebUI and choose the server hosting your mail services.
  2. Open Tools & UtilitiesSpam AutoShield Tools.
  3. Click Activate Spam AutoShield to enable the module or Deactivate Spam AutoShield to turn it off.
  4. Confirm the action; the UI streams the service status as protections come online/offline.

Activation loads the full policy stack, blocklists, and Rspamd tuning parameters across the server.

Command Line (CLI) Method

  1. SSH into the server.
  2. Enable Spam AutoShield:
    cpfence --activate-spam-autoshield
  3. Disable it when required:
    cpfence --deactivate-spam-autoshield

Leave the module enabled by default on your mail server—only disable it for maintenance or troubleshooting.
