How to Enable or Disable Email Quarantine in cPFence?

cPFence offers the ability to enable or disable email quarantine for handling infected attachments or phishing links. By default, email quarantine is disabled, giving you full control over automated actions related to email threats.

Enabling or Disabling Email Quarantine

To manage the email quarantine feature, use the following commands:

  • Enable Email Quarantine:
cpfence --enable-email-quarantine
  • Disable Email Quarantine:
cpfence --disable-email-quarantine

When email quarantine is enabled, cPFence will automatically quarantine any detected infected attachments or phishing links. If it is disabled, no automated action will be taken, allowing you to manually control the handling of email-based threats.

Separate Control Over Email and File Quarantine

It's important to note that cPFence allows separate control for email quarantine and file quarantine. This flexibility ensures that you can configure each area according to your specific security needs.
