How to Whitelist MonitorPro in Cloudflare?

Cloudflare's security features may block cPFence MonitorPro by presenting a challenge page, causing your websites to appear offline. To avoid false downtime reports, it's important to whitelist MonitorPro in your Cloudflare settings.

You can do this by either whitelisting the MonitorPro User Agent or the source IP of your Enhance Main Control Panel server (which is used to perform the monitoring).

Option 1: Whitelist MonitorPro's User Agent

  1. Log in to your Cloudflare account and select your domain.
  2. In the left-hand menu, click Security, then choose WAF.
  3. Under the Custom rules tab, click Create rule.
  4. Enter a name for the rule, such as Allow MonitorPro.
  5. In the rule builder:
    • Set Field to User Agent
    • Set Operator to contains
    • Set Value to: cPFence MonitorPro
  6. Choose the Action as Skip.
  7. Under WAF components to skip, select all options (Managed rules, Browser Integrity Check, etc.).
  8. Click Deploy to activate the rule.

Option 2: Whitelist by Source IP

  1. Follow the same steps above but set the rule like this:
  • Field: IP Source Address
  • Operator: equals
  • Value: your Main Control Panel IP address (e.g., 192.0.2.123)
Proceed with the same Skip action and component selections as above.

Once completed, MonitorPro will be able to check your websites reliably without being blocked by Cloudflare.
